Lydia completed the Australian Medical Council Certificate (AMC) in 2019.

Current Work Status

Lydia is currently completing her GP registrar training with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners to specialise in General Practice.

Career History

After receiving her medical degree Lydia worked at two hospitals in Egypt rotating through General Medicine, Emergency, General Surgery, Gynaecology and obstetrics, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia and Clinical pathology.
After completing AMC, Lydia worked at the Melbourne’s Northern Hospital since 2022 rotating through different specialities: Mental Health, General Medicine, Emergency, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Orthopaedics.

Personal

Outside of work Lydia enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family.
