Amanda is currently completing her GP registrar training with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners to specialise in General Practice, while continuing to work one day a week in the Emergency Department with Monash Health.
She spent two years as a junior doctor on the Sunshine Coast, before moving to Melbourne to work at Monash Health as a registrar in emergency medicine.
While she has enjoyed her time working in the hospital system, she is now looking forward to building long-term relationships with her patients. She enjoys the wide variety that general practice brings, and has a broad range of experience across medicine, from paediatrics to palliative care.
Outside of work, she has many interests, including cooking (especially making pasta), camping, and spending time with her family, friends and her dog.
