Dr Katrina Bieniak

Qualification/ Education/ Training

Katrina attained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) at Monash University in 2013.

In 2021 Katrina was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.  Since then, Katrina has extended her skills in a variety of areas; including the FPAA National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2024.

Current Work Status

Katrina joined Belgrave Medical Clinic in 2023.  She works part time at the clinic, including regular Saturday morning sessions.

Katrina enjoys all aspects of being a GP, especially women’s, children’s and mental health.

Career History

During her career, Katrina gained experience in a variety of settings.  She completed her early training through Peninsula Health in acute medicine, surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics; before going on to complete further rotations in anaesthetics and ICU at Ballarat Health Services.  In 2017 Katrina enjoyed further gynaecology and obstetric terms at the Royal Women’s Hospital, before pursuing her interest in General Practice.
