Dr Sara MacGibbon
Qualification/ Education/ Training.
Sara attended The University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine and Doctor of Medicine (with distinction) completing studies in 2017. She completed her placements in country Victoria as part of the Extended Rural Cohort program. She also has completed the Sydney Child Health Program and Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Career Path
Sara worked at Western Health for her internship and residency completing rotations in Emergency, General Medicine and Surgery, Infectious Diseases, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Aged Care.
Sara started at Belgrave Medical Clinic in 2021 as a GP registrar and has stayed on once completing her training and obtaining her Fellowship in General Practice.

- Post natal checks, parent and infant care
- Women’s health from adolescence through to post menopause

- Management of symptoms and conditions with lifestyle approaches including diet, exercise, stress and sleep
- Can provide care in all aspects of General Practice

Sara enjoys spending time with her young family, music, dancing, bushwalking, cooking, reading, and is very into exercise with qualifications as a group fitness instructor.
